I’m Esther Zhou, a New York City-based videographer with a passion for capturing intimate, cinematic stories. Specializing in wedding videography, I bring a unique perspective as a female videographer, focusing on the details that matter most to you. I take the time to thoroughly understand what you envision for your big day, working closely with you beforehand to ensure everything is captured just the way you want. On your wedding day, my goal is to create films that feel natural, elegant, and truly reflect your love story—without missing a single moment.

Beyond weddings, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from major companies like Discovery Channel to startups, modeling agencies, surgeons, lawyers, and musical artists. My work has been featured in Vogue and Harper’s Magazine, and I’ve traveled extensively, both for work and pleasure, gaining a global perspective that allows me to connect with diverse cultures and people. My passion for storytelling extends beyond just videography—my travel documentary has been recognized at international film festivals, including PromoFest in Spain. I thrive on collaboration and learning what makes each individual tick, allowing me to capture and reflect their unique stories in a meaningful way.

FUN FACT!

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a performer at heart. I regularly showcase original music and covers at venues like Rockwood Music Hall. I’m also an alum of USC School of Cinematic Arts and Berklee College of Music—so to all the USC and Berklee gang out there, hello! And if you’re ever in need of a little fun during your day, I can even throw in a magic trick or two to keep things lively. I’m really good at dad jokes :D

In my free time, you can find me taking long walks in Central Park, watercoloring strangers at cafes, or learning improv comedy. These creative outlets fuel my storytelling, helping me bring a unique, cinematic, and personal touch to every wedding I capture.
